Female contraceptive methods
This particular section is one of our program's most potential sections. We discuss available options of contraceptive methods for women but with many that apply to everyone with a uterus. Today, women and girls still face the challenge of an informed choice when seeking contraceptive services, yet they deserve full rights to understand every single option of controlling births. The section we are developing here is potentially designed to dismantle the gaps interfering with the ability of women, girls, and many people with a uterus to access full rights to informed choice.
At Flavors of Family Planning, we believe that equipping people with knowledge about existing contraceptive methods is unequivocal. Furthermore, we must deliver the content to all genders equally and engage men and boys to understand female contraceptive methods, too, so that they can be the best complementary components of relationships.
This section discusses hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptive methods, including; oral contraceptive pills, implants, injectables, patches, vaginal rings, Intrauterine devices, female sterilization, lactational amenorrhea, fertility awareness, etc. We discuss the effectiveness, misconceptions, myths, expectations, side effects, and responses to the clients whenever a burning question spins up.
Finally, we believe that girls and women should obtain comprehensive sexual education; know and recognize options; negotiate reproductive desires, including when and how many children to have, and demand access to good quality services for reproductive health. Enjoy the show!

6.Who really determines sex? | Ese igitsina umwana avukana kigenwa nande?
Women and girls violence is a worldwide pressing concern- we have learnt from our viewers that they want to know who really determines sex because this is one of the causes of home violence and conflicts against women and girls whereby their husbands or partners violate them basing on the fact that women and girls are responsible of the sex of the innocent born baby. Again, this concern may lead to the denial of responsibilities.
7. Adolescent and Pregnancy | Uruhare rw'abagabo mu kwiyongera kw'inda ziterwa abangavu.
Girls often get pregnant without any say in the decision, and often with much older men or husbands. Large spousal age gaps also mean huge power differentials between girls and their partners/husbands. Girls who get pregnant before age 18 are more likely to experience violence within marriage or a partnership than girls who postpone child-bearing.
We believe that girls and women should obtain comprehensive sexual education; to know and recognize options; to be able to negotiate reproductive desires, including when and how many children to have; and to be able to demand access to good quality services for reproductive health.
