Male contraceptive methods

This section discusses contraceptive methods possible for men and boys and the rationale around each option. The traditional methods of teaching reproductive health have mainly focused on women and girls and forgot about engaging men and boys effectively. The consequence of this approach is that many men and boys, especially in many African countries, remain unconcerned with reproductive health to the extent that some do not care about contraceptive methods designed for them. This normalization could be associated with many challenges that couples and families face today, including "unplanned pregnancies."

Flavors of Family Planning is working hard to unleash the status quo and disrupt male engagement in family planning. It provides the opportunity for men and boys to be equipped with family planning and reproductive health topics as equally as women and girls.

Vasectomy, Condom, withdrawal, and abstinence, to mention a few, are discussed in this section. We will continue to add more topics for you as they arise but in the meantime, enjoy what we have. We are here for you. Don't forget to leave a comment or a question. Enjoy the show.
